Nigerian born chef Raphael Duntoye changed course from his chosen career of engineering to follow a lifelong passion for food and cooking. After many years working at the side of famed chef Pierre Koffman at his 3-Michelin Star restaurant La Taunte Claire, Raphael was soon working beside Britain's best known chefs. Sharing a kitchen with Gordon Ramsey, Marcus Wareing, Tom Aitken and Michel Roux Jr. a drive for excellence and a thirst for learning fuelled an ambition to one day head his own kitchen. In 2007 this dream came true, Raphael became Chef Patron, opening La Petite Maison in London's Mayfair. It was here that he built his reputation, gathered awards and began what was to become a world famous, global restaurant empire.
With gratitude for all he has been able to achieve and in recognition of the role his education played in his success, Raphael is proud to support the work of Christianna Foundation.
